Allow me to present Michael “Princess Cupcake” Mason.  Michael is the best example why every Quidditch team should play demo matches whenever they can.  The Blisks were playing a demo scrimmage at the local NYC Ren Faire.  I was on the sidelines taking photos when beside me was an …. enthusiastic gentlemen who stated that he was watching the greatest thing he has EVER seen.

“HOW DO I PLAY THIS! I MUST PLAY THIS OMG TELL ME!” Paraphrases what I recall he said to me ;-)

Fast forward a few weeks and Princess Cupcake is now a member of the Badassilisks.  With two tree trunks for legs, he gets right up after every blow and towers over opposing players.

Ralph “Kramden” Palmieri is the eternal optimist of the Badassilisks.  No matter the situation, how tough the circumstances, or tricky the predicament, Ralph will always be rooting on his teammates.  And Ralph always makes sure that his teammates can hear him :)

Greg is one of the most loyal players on the B-lisks and has been a member since the teams inception last year.  He has invited us into his home for parties, provided countless supplies for creating banners and posters and has even written poetry about the team.  In particular the B-lisks slogan : “Don’t be the next Wizard or Witch turned to stone on the Quidditch pitch” is taken from a longer poem that he wrote.

What CAN’T I say about Jessica Klein? An EXTREME sports fan, she’ll root on every team in NYC and have the face paint to match.  If there is a group of Badassilisks and there is one voice you can hear over everyone else, its probably Jessica.  And no one has a greater sense of humor off AND on the pitch.

The most important thing to know about Dave Plisky, is that when referring to him or addressing him by his team nickname. It is ESSENTIAL to say it “Archer” style.  Like so:
